I can't and you know it
(I never thought it'd be this way)

There are dead roses covering the floor;
All that I feel is what I felt before,
While everything now shakes you to the core.
And your dry passion urges, thirsts for more.

We both knew that we faced our end that night;
Please, let's just say goodbye and never fight.
It's time to admit that nothing is right,
So let's burn the city, and hide the light.
