Waiting for something;

Not knowing the outcome.

Trying to sleep,

But only to find tears.

Wanting to feel,

But she has forgotten.

She screams for more

But she doesn’t know how much.

She’ll try to keep quiet,

But she misses his touch.

It set her on fire—

She burned in the heat of love.

They said his love could have tamed her,

And they were all but wrong.

Can’t shake this feeling

Of growing pain and restlessness…

In her sleep she screams,

“Take me away from this;

Far away from love!”
