Ophelia’s Inspirational Visage

August 2006

Slowly and swiftly

They crawl toward you

From all the dark places

With shifting lights

They are wailing

And terrible;

Your only truths

Let them roam free

And you’ll find your way

To me, and I’ll give to you

All you seek.

Ignore the screams

They are just

Passing

Fleeting thoughts within

A larger scope

They will lead you

Through measures

Of Catacombs

As you lose

Your chances to

Turn back.

Don let fear win out,

If you wish to know.

Once you find me

Among the images

Sought after

You’ll find that,

Though you know

All you wished to understand,

Never again

Can you sleep

The spiders

Have eaten

Your eyes

Your eyes
