A World of Darkness

I want to drain the rainbow,

Take away its pretty colors and make them mine.

I want to put out the sun,

Bring the world to darkness without a hope of shine.

A day will come when the sun will set forever;

Bleached sand will fade to black ash,

Clear waters will be stained with red blood.

The world will end and into oblivion crash.

A child will be born,

Marked a bringer of the end and a terrible beast.

Behind will follow death and desolation,

The reincarnation of a creature once deceased.

Left forlorn with years of anguish,

Given a choice to leave or rule them all,

Unknowing if to lead the world would lead to peace,

Or else a terrible fall.
