Ocean Soul

It shimmers like poised sapphire,
In the face of humankind,
but to a kindred spirit -
There is more than meets the eye.
Look deep into the ocean's heart,
and maybe just one day,
She will lull you with her lunar tide,
and entice you with her spray.

Even a troubled, frenzied mortal,
whose mind is filled with woe,
Will understand the Great Blue's ways,
and know exactly where to go.
Yet our peaceful lady is not free!
She is on a celestial parole,
but her mind still wanders on and on.
