As I sit here; the cold and dieing day
My loneliness growing, consuming
Devouring my soul
Turning it black; bending it to its will
Burning away all the love I had stored
For someone special

This someone special has come,
And gone, like a whisper of the heart
Leaving shattered tears
The darkness emerging and taking form
Into my worst nightmare
Being alone….

The thunder storm rages in my mind
Clouds blocking the sun
Thunder deafening me
Rain blinding me
To the truth in front of me
The reality of it all

Loneliness can be overcome
And beaten to the ground
Buried and consumed by the soul
Returning the blood color
Quenching the storm and
Blinding the darkness

I see the light
My saviors
My friends
Happiness; darkness crawling back inside
The chains being shattered instead of my tears
Love once again returning to my now beating heart
