I am You

The moon will rise
And then you'll see
Behind these eyes
There's more to me

A coat of fur
A soul of ice
Don't scream with fear
For it's all lies

Though I'm not human
I am
Though I can't cry
I can

There's more to me
Than this beastly wolf
Let me be free
Let not the moon soon engulf

We are the same
Both running from shame
Both wanting understanding
Not winter but sweet spring

I am you
You are me
I am but you -
In true form for all to see

A/N: I wrote this poem last year in Language Arts / English class. I had it on Quizilla earlier, but then I decide to move it here. Please enjoy! (And please review. :) )
