Little Fish, Little Bird

A little bird once caught a fish

But tossed it back to the stream

"This I give you. Life." She said.

And she left him there to dream.

Then one day he caught the bird

In a net cast near the stream.

"This I give you. Love." He said.

And ripped off both her wings.
