A Final Farewell

I sit here under the stars,

Gazing at the moon's pale light,

Thinking back to us.

Back to the love,

The days spent together,

The secret hideaways you always found us.

Then I look at my wrists.

At the scars embedded in them.

A constant reminder,

Of the pain you left me with.

I sit there,

Reading about him.

He who took my place.

And as I sit here,

Tears rolling down my face,

I hold a picture of us,

Back in happier times.

And at my side,

It waits,

Hungry for my blood.

And unbenowest to everyone,

I feed even though,

I have lost you forever,

Just remember,

That untill the end of time,

I will always love you.
