When life gets too hard sometimes,

And I feel like my brains about to fry,

I just head on down to the local Barnes and Noble,

That North Star in my sky.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

As I walk in the door,

I can smell that brewing coffee,

What flavor frappucino do I want,

Chocolate, java chip, or even toffee?

---------------------------------------------------------------

All I know is that I’m going to get one,

And find a quiet nook,

Preferably with a big comfy couch,

And start reading that brand new book.

---------------------------------------------------------------

Some girls say that shopping is their stress remedy,

And that alright with me,

Cause I’ll just hide out in the Starbucks,

Cause that’s My therapy.

---------------------------------------------------------------

So if you ever come to Barnes and Noble,

And see a girl slurping down a frozen coffee,

With her nose buried in a book,

Have no doubts, it’s probably me.
