Past

My mind shattered by things long past
Everything used to seem so clear
The past, the present, the future
All set out, all so near

But it seems, I realise now
The past is not as dead as I thought
It has come back, returned to me
Things long since past is all I see

I try and fight these things I feel
But I know the past is real
I ran from it for so long
I was a fool to think it gone

Dead memories seen through tears
Past horrors revive my fears
Sense and Direction lost and gone
I’ve lost all feeling, except for one

Now I fix myself for this
And if it where my final wish
I would make this world seem real
And tell all now, what I feel
