Kailex's Prologue
Her silver eyes flashed, the metallic colour then rippled like water having a stone thrown into it. There were no whites in those eyes, no pupil, no iris; you could never see which way she was looking, but you would always feel her gaze on you, and be able to feel her eyes staring back at yours…
Triangular spikes the same colour as her eyes ran down her supple spine, coming through slits in her armour. The Helmet she wore covered a beautiful and vibrant face, she looked rather young as well, only 24 or 23, but she was by far much older than any could guess by her looks. The power she gave off like a forever leaking pipe showed how old she was.
Only on who had lived for an eternity could be so powerful as the Goddess of Armageddon.
Her mid-night black hair fell to the small of her back, ending in snow-silver tips. Ridged black horns curved up from the temples of her skull, adding a foot of height to her 5’11 frame and curving backwards for another two feet. Many wondered how the Goddess slept at “night” with such extensive horns. That is, if she slept at all.
Some had seen her pacing all night in her temple room. Others had been unlucky to see her perched like a waiting predator on top of a building or in a tree, turned out that she had been a waiting predator…
But then again, not many were awake at night, and so no one knew where Kailex went when all others were dead to the world...
Kailexanra, or Kailex as her more common name went, had the most unnerving eyes of any Deity, and she was adept at making a mortal or even her own kind feel uncomfortable and cold with just her eyes. It was legend she could hypnotize unlukcy and weak minded humans she found with them, the victims of which she drank their blood from until they were naught but dry husks... yes... she could drink a human dry...
She loved having so much power at her command…
Kailex was a tall and slender female, with a wonderful body she only sometimes used to her advantage. The Goddess did not have to sleep with someone to get what she wanted but she could leave things to their imagination enough for them to be oblivious to her true natural. Another thing Kailex loved, deception of mortals…
The Goddess was currently fighting a war against another God.
She screamed in rage, her body twisting, and her large black dragon’s wings spreading wide and pushing over several enemy Humans. This God she was against was Holy, so he did not know the arts of raising demons to aid him in battle or how to harness them to his will.
A knife got into her upper leg. Kailex screeched angrily and the human female found herself immolated instantly by the Goddess’s rage. The God, known as Henralikan, or Henral, was losing, and he knew that he was losing. Kailex was the Goddess of Armageddon, her name was spoken in fear by their own kind even.
His only chance for survival would be to beg the Hell Space Guardian for help, it was told that the God of Torture was the only one Kailex feared. Apparently, Kailex had been locked away, and rightly so Henral thought, in the Hell Space at Zerdarakan’s mercy. For 50 millennia she had been tortured and Henral did not think that was enough for someone such as she. Kailex was the most evil bitch he had even come across, she gave Evil Deities a bad name.
That is what you think Holy God…
That deep, rasping voice made Henral jump, backing away until he was behind his army so he was safe and could converse. She gives your side a bad name, she is too deceitful, too horrific, too-
She is Evil, Holy One… there is no such thing as too Evil. Not among our kind, that is just how you are thinking, you are using hatred to think such things of her when you know they are not true. Kai is merely doing what comes naturally, doing what her perfectly honed instincts tell her…
Henral had never heard anyone give Kailexanra a nickname from her shortened name. Kai… that nickname did seem to fit her, it was too child-like in someway, it just did not fit with such an Evil creature…
But… but, I need your help Guardian! She is going to destroy me!
And what do you want me to do Henral? Kill her?
Yes!
You stupid prick… I am not going to kill Kai for you. As much as you think, and most other Deities of yours think, she does deserve to live. I myself keep her will and mind in a silent grasp, on a leash that she cannot detect, if I did not have this grasp on her she would merely have had to think of it and you would have been destroyed.
Henral felt fear run through him. This was not Kailexanra at her full
power? The Goddess of Armageddon still had more power she could exert?!
Please! I am begging you Guardian, save me from her wrath! I have done nothing to provoke it!
I think she will enjoy killing you Henral, I know I will enjoy watching it…
YOU ARE A BETRAYER GUARDIAN!
Henral came back to reality just in time to see Kailex flying towards him, screeching like a Banshee. Her blade cut into his shoulder and she let out a shrill sound of delight, enjoying the ecstasy of blood being spilt, the wonderful smell of it invading every sense she possessed.
Die now… enter His world of pain… and forever leave this one! she screamed telepathically, her lips never moving, her face twisted into a look of pure madness. She has never spoken before… not for real… he thought absently, funny the things you think about when you are about to die.
Kailex raised her blade, her black booted foot pressed to Henral’s chest, she grinned, her eyes wide and alight with her sheer lack of sanity as she savoured the look of fear and horror upon the Holy God’s face before she-
The Goddess froze mid-motion, her back arched backwards as she had been about to bring her blade crashing down onto the God’s head. Henral saw a look of confusion pass over her face, he then heard Zerdarakan roar in his mind, the Guardian’s voice full of rage.
NO! Her power is draining! What has happened!? Tell me now!
I-I don’t know Guardian. She has just frozen, she looks confused, I don’t think she herself knows what is happening to her!
ARRR! Wait- What?! NO!
All of a sudden Kailexanra, feared Goddess of Armageddon, shattered.
Like glass, she … shattered…
What remained of her was nothing, the “glass” shards faded from sight and the last echoing sound was her scream of agony as she was taken from this world…
