Antigone speaks tonight
curved and carnate again;
fidus et audux, invested in
the probability of fist or palm.

blink backwards and consider
the shape before it broke;
globed fruit beyond the worldframe
dew-skinned and whole.

peace peace peace
she invokes, cupping water
towards cracked lips.
peace peace peace

A lot of lines and/or elements of this poem might seem familiar... I've drawn many of the better phrases from my less-than-stellar poems for this one. I rather like it; what do you think?
