Fall deeper into shadows, into scarlet reverie;

I perish in the creeping night to be a mystery;

I’ll give you feathered wings to fall and perish here with me.

The bleakness becomes beauty when you see with darkened eyes;

Deceit can become deepest truth and truth can become lies;

Awakening the innocents and heeding not their cries.

Become the unredeemable, forget the life you knew;

Cast off the feathered wings and fall and let me carry you;

Fall further in the maddest mind that opens to so few.

Plunge deeper in the stone-cold knife and draw a crimson stain;

Feel all the joys of darkness through the cries of mindless pain;

And when the mark begins to fade thrust in the knife again…
