The Gatekeeper

A sprite timeless and carefree

Who carelessly tramps from tree to tree

He seems harmless from a simple glance

But little know that from his ample dance

The gates to other worlds he does entrance.

The few who are aware of his ability

Wish to use it for their own powers stability

Yet the sprite often remains unscathed

For his weaknesses in shadows are bathed.

For centuries Bonkoon the sprite recklessly played

But his fun is about to be stayed

For a being of great prowess and might

Wishes to bring forth a terrible plight

And he has discovered Bonkoon’s weakness

Is his fascination with shiny new blades.

For those who are wondering what the hell this poem is about, its about Bonkoon. Bonkooon is my sprite who controls the gates to all other worlds and dimensions. He'll play into the big story involving Ryumaru and Satoru. I know it seems short and quirky, but it has a backstory purpose I promise! Enjoy and review!
