“A Fight For The Sun Not To Set”

In the evening, half past nine

I watch from my window as an epic battle takes place

The sun, the moon

And all the stars as soldiers

How could such celestial deities feud?

The sun, its bright appearance hiding all the pain

The moon, its gloomy cast giving it wisdom

What could be the cause of such unhappiness?

This fight for the sun not to set

The last hope of light

I observe in horror as our warm bright star burns out

And falls to the floor

For the sun to be set

Forevermore
