Your Mark

I lower down the walls

Unlock that secret door

Standing aside anxiously

Seeing whats in store

Do you enter, to take a look?

To see what I have to show

At first who can truly know

Caught in the lights like a doe

Then the pain will strike

As you laugh at my trust

With that simple action

My love will turn to dust

Then away you walk

Leaving that wound to ache

For me to stitch the hole

The world to what I make

No longer will the walls lower

Forever will that door be locked

I’m cold and hard and withdrawn

So why do you looked so shocked

And so I will go on

Living a life now so dark

All because of you

All because of that mark
