Why are you so far away?

Do you not like my casual touches?

I feel so far

I am too needy

I love your voice, my dear one

That sleep-worn sound

Reserved but for me!

Those creases your smile makes

I treasure it each time I see it

The way you turn to me

Sharing your overflowing mirth

How special am I!

Your arms around me are treasured

When you lean on me

Inside I glow

You are perfect for me

Nearly perfect in every way

I miss you

I miss you my dear sweet one

How do I look?

Is my hair alright?

It sticks to my face,

Waving away,

Unflattering

Is my stomach to large?

It isn’t flat

It sticks out too much

I like my legs now

I think they curve nicely

Do you?

I don’t know

It’s too much

I can take comfort in that you love me

That should be enough

It will be enough

For now

As our love grows

So shall our expectations

Tread carefully

Be kind

And show me your love
