Darkest Angel

White flames lick at her skin,
tearing flesh from bone,
but she wont make a sound.
Bent and broken,
Blistered and bloodied

(She's not crying)

She keeps it all inside
in .ce
As the sun is slowly eclipsed in her world,
The dark traps her in
And she can't breathe

(You smothered her)

Soon all she be is a Cryptic Memory
...My Darkest Angel

This was written for Darkest Angels, my wonderfully luffly friend --huggles-- --Wink-- The new format is something like the format from the Lyric Book from Alexisonfire's new CD Crisis. (Killer CD --huggles it--) This poem didn;t start off as being about Darkest Angels, it decided itself halfway through that it wanted to be about her. I was sort of inspired by a Poem 'Alice is Dying' about the same author, written by Never Forget What I Lost. Amazing Poem. I'm insanely jealous that I can't write like either of those authors. Hmm, this Author's note is becoming a ramble, so I'm going to cut it. Hope you like it. Love to Darkest Angels. Chu.
