When It Hits You

And BAM!
It hits me.
I know the truth,
But I can't accept it,
Now can I?

But please, God, just make me.
Accept the truth, goddamnit!
He will never be there!
Why am I waiting?
Waiting here till eternity,
For him.

I'm taking too long to decide.
Run,
Away,
Now,
Because he's not coming in my direction anytime soon.
What am I waiting for?
Go, now.

So get those feet running,
Hitting the ground so fast
That nothing can catch up with me.
Run, run, run,
And one more thing,
Don't look back.

I'm running too fast,
Out of my breath,
Heart's pumping too hard,
Damn, it hurts.

I'm so out of breath,
I have to stop and take a break.
Wait, where am I?
I'm looking around,
This place is very unfamiliar,
I don't know anything,
Where am I?

Can someone help me?
Please?

I look around me,
Straight ahead,
To my left,
To my right,
Behind me.

Oh yeah,
I forgot.
I'm not supposed to look back.

But there, I see it!
I know that place,
I just have to go back,
Where I came from,
Face it,
Face everything,
Like the past.
Like him.

So now I'm going backwards,
Back to where I came from,
Back to eternity,
Back to him.

Wait a minute,
What am I doing?
