I'm sitting there in shock,

The T.V. must be playing games,

Then it sinks in,

oh dear God,

Someone near me is crying,

sobbing, sobbing,

and then it hits me,

and I start bawling too,

the people,

their screaming, soot covered,

and then shear panic sets in,

it fell, look at the debree,

everyone around me gasps,

the world was ending right there,

right in that moment everything was lost,

why, why there, why today, why?

How could this bright day in September,

be like this?

Sitting there in shock,

Time seemed endless and horribly slow,

and that feeling hasn't left.
