God Makes a Man

God makes him good,

By teaching him what’s right.

God causes his unselfishness,

By being unselfish.

God makes him love,

By showing His love.

God causes him to care,

By caring for others.

By giving him challenges.

God gives him strength,

By giving the word.

God makes him obstinate,

By making him take a stand.

God builds up his will,

By letting him choose.

So that he can give it away.

God decides his rank,

So that he can lead.

God makes him poor,

So he can learn to trust.

God takes away his home,

So He’ll let him know He’ll provide.

So that people will listen.

God gives him authority,

So that they can do His work.

God makes him brave,

So he can stand against the enemy.

God ensures man’s loyalty,

So people can trust him.

Gods makes him obedient,

And gives him His orders

God calls him to serve,

And shows him how.

God makes him work,

And gives him the heart.

God pushes him forward,

And is with him always.

And wants his devotion.

God wants his worship,

And also his praise.

God makes him faithful,

And gives him the church.

God orders his devotion,

Because he is the great I am.
