Elemental

Rain falls and pierces my skin

Splashing against my face,

As my hair is whipped by the wind.

Cold, dark clouds fill the sky,

As lightning strikes nearby.

As the lightning bolt hit the ground,

It blazed into orange flames all around.

Now I’m standing here,

The wind whisking past me

Sending chills down my spine

The fire begins to surround me

I can feel it getting closer and closer to my skin

The white hot flames now burn against my flesh

The pain I feel is immense,

As the blazes hiss and sway wildly

The wind then shifted,

Sending the fire in the other direction

A clap of thunder is heard

And more rain begins to fall

The noise of the fire began to lessen

The rain came down in a heavy cascade,

And the white hot intensity of the fire subsided

And I again felt the rain pierce my skin,

As it splashed against my face

And I felt the wind.
