Confined to my Prison

Desiree Emme
August 28, 2006

Enclosed in a room
Rejecting every invitation
No need to get wrapped up

I fear being lonely-
Yet, I’ve made it come true.
By being locked up.

It’s just me and my writings,
No one else
No disturbances.

Some days I’ll blast my radio,
Blocking out the conversations
In the background.

It gets lonely in here,
Being all by myself.
Away from my family.

Yet, I’ve created this…
This pain,
This rejection to them.

If I could go back…
Would I change it?
Probably not.

I prefer to be alone.
Confined to my prison.
The prison I created..

------My room.
