This nightmare called Life
By: Danny Dodger
He’s on his knees smiling like a maniac
Mesmerized by the dripping of blood from his finger tips
That homicidal smirk planted decisively on his lips
Murderous intentions in black and white
His head is throw back he’s laughing so hard
He’s swathed in coagulating blood
Bathing in the contaminated innocents
He’s replaced his sanity with lunacy
If he could just turn the lights on
Stop the insects from eating at his flesh
Stop his skin from pealing away
Maybe, just maybe
He could escape this nightmare
This nightmare he calls life
