Since the day I left this Earth, I’ve wished I could have stayed

To grow up alongside you as you guide me on my way

I wish that I could live the life that I’ve now left behind

I’d erase your pain and mourning, and I’d grant you peace of mind

But ever since the night when my young life reached its end

I’ve been in heaven watching you, my family and friends

I see you living day by day, I watch you each with love

I feel your joy and cry your tears as I watch you from above.

No one knows why I was taken far away from you so soon

Mom, you made my life on Earth so wonderful and good
