Different characters but similar plots (as in: just like in C.S.I. there’s a lot of forensic evidence following and cool gadgetry and whatnot; and in L&O there’s the “law” part and then the “order” part w/sometimes-testimonies by the law enforcement, ALSO like in C.S.I. when a C.S.I. is asked to testify)

Similar in that murder—but there’s more than meets the eye (usual twisted story, so this’ll take a while to develop, but this idea struck me randomly a while ago and I haven’t been able to put it to paper).

C.S.I.—head supervisor (day/grave shift), Level 2/3 Techs, Lab Techs

Law—detectives plus captain (possibly an M.E. like in C.S.I. and psychiatrist, like in L&O)

Order—A.D.A.(s) Head D.A. and their opponents
