Silent whines fill breezeless air
Reflected by greyish wall
The once stable paper hills
Thudding on the plastic floor

Only coffee remains cold
Deadly deadline warms me up
No need to write it in bold
Now we have it close enough

Welcome to my office life
I bow my head and agree
Treating badly unloved files
I still need (and like) to eat

For this reason I have learnt
To chew in high speed motion
Bitter every now and then
Fruits of procrastination
