A/N – I'm starting to wonder where my mind went whilst writing this. All I can say

Looking at the lists
Of the writers like myself
I seriously start
To wonder

Checking out
The author’s
Work that has
Also appeared
On the web
I wonder if
They know
They have a case
Of tunnel vision?

I myself am
Prone to this
Small misfortune

One romance poem
Is quite a breath
Of fresh air
But when all
Forty something
Pieces are that
Genre and style
It gets boring

I'm going to
Stereotype now

Romances are
All about break-ups
Or undying loves
For the one who
Will become
Your break-up
Poem in a week

Life is about
Yours and how
It affects
You in a way
“No-one else
Can understand”
So you write
To make
The attention
Flit to you

Humour is nice
But the façade
In some
Is terrible
Beyond words
Others are
Complete nonsense
That don’t need
To be given
To our community

The general
Means you never
Know what
You’ll get
Sometimes
People don’t
Know where to
Put their piece
So it goes
Amongst others

The point
I suppose

How many
Of you lot
Have a piece
Poetry or fiction
From every
Single genre?

Tunnel vision
Gets to us all
Some more
Than others
So I can’t
Really complain
And become
A hypocrite
