A Matter of Time

Terrifying—

Looming up against the sky.

Towering over a cringing shadow.

Rushed into the abyss—

Halls, windows, bright lights…

It all comes crashing

Down, Down, Down

The walls cave in,

Suffocating

Life from their victims—

Freshmen.

Young enough to be vulnerable,

Old enough to think they’re invincible.

It’s all a matter of time,

Though.

Soon—

They will either sink or swim,

Get lost or be there.

Some will survive the

Crashing madness—

Others will perish

With sure destruction.

It’s a matter of time,
