Hourglass V. 2.1

You fell from grace at eighteen stories / And collided with yourself again / You jumped the ledge, I jumped the fence / And I set myself on fire for you / So you can find your way back home

We finally have some time to ourselves / To swim the crimson tides of love / I took your hand, you took your time / The hourglass buried me alive / And I couldn’t be happier

Is it me? / Am I not enough? / Is it you? / Are you just too much? / Can we start over / Before we get too far ahead of ourselves?

Dig me up out of the ground / And bury me in the sky below / Let the clouds fill my lungs / And you’ll have the best of both worlds

Is it me? / Am I not enough? / Is it you? / Are you just too much? / Can we start over / Before we get too far ahead of ourselves?
