I Hide

I hide myself in my Art,

Because the world has hurt my heart,

I hide my soul in my dreams,

Where no one else can hear my screams,

I hide my love in my pain,

Though dark, it's never in vain,

I hide my tears in practiced smiles,

But keep to the path of memories isles,

I hide my emotions, all my sadness,

And cover with a facade of gladness,

I hide my thoughts while I speak,

With all of this, I feel so weak,

I'll hide myself far away,

And stay hidden, till one day,

I can find him ever true,

On that day, my soul renew.
