A Shining Wish

Man: I wished upon a star, but that star had no shine.

Woman: I wish that I’d be yours, and I wished that you’d be mine.

Man: I played a game of love or life.

Woman: I lost a game that’s result brought strife.

Woman: I tried your heart, and soul to bless.

Man: I broke your heart, to an unfixable mess.

Man: I apologize for my unforgivable past.

Woman: I accepted your apology and forgave at last.

Man: The magic was there, but soon was lost.

Woman: You took my happiness, but at what cost?

Woman: My time is now, I regret you see…

You are the fault existing in me.

Man: Why did you go? It can not be true.

Was I the cause of what happened to you?

Together: I wished upon a star tonight.

I wish upon a star dim from light.

I wished upon a single star.

I wished that I could travel far.

Woman: I wish to break the barrier between life and death.

Man: That was your one true wish. You said with your last breath.

A poem dedicated to one of my newest friends, Hayden. I had the inspiration the early morning when I, Hayden, and my sister were having a very long three way duel. (Which I came in last.) Please R and R. Tell me I’m good at something. Oh, and this is a poem about a woman who loves a man, and he loves her for awhile, but then finds another love and the woman commits suicide. Is my run on sentence explanitory enough?
