In the centre of my being,
I look to You my King
I long to abide in Purity
To love You with everything.

In the centre of my being,
I ask You to Search me through
To sculpt me into Your likeness
To be made one with You.

In the centre of my being,
I pray for Your light to shine
To illuminate the darkness
In this fragile heart of mine.

In the centre of my being,
I see a precious gem
That was imparted unto me by You
To share Your truth with them.

You are alive

--

Psalm 103:1-5
Praise the LORD, O my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
Praise the LORD, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits-
who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

Psalm 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalm 19:7
The law of the LORD is perfect,
reviving the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,
making wise the simple
