The Sealed Might

The strained peace has fallen at last

And the shadows of war have been cast

The dragons cast forth their fiery way

While other races are desperate for those who can slay.

"Oh slayer with your fang so great!"

"We implore your Ryuken with money to bait!"

The slayer accepted his second kill

And finished it with brute skill

With this fight he discovered a new thrill.

Tales of his skills soon spread

As did the count of dragons dead

But as Sotaru grew in skill

So did his lust for dragons to kill.

In his search for this thrill

He came upon a danger all too real

A dragoness with a powerful seal,

But when she cast her spell

He was to late to tell

And into her trap he did fell.

Sotaru found himself screaming

But in the darkness there was no feeling

The slayer was caught in a hellish sealing

With nothing to do but endure rage and seething.

Centuries later the dragon witch would join him

But without his knowledge

For in this realm slumber overtook them

How long can this hell for dragons hold?

It is unknown for this gate is locked in bold

And only the divine keeper of gates the keys does he hold.

This is the second part of Sotaru's backstory. I decided to do it in a poem form. I know it overlaps the short story a bit, but this way it makes a better poem. Enjoy! and please review!
