One of my first attempts writing a song. I guess it works as poetry too.
It's just something I started singing in the shower and isn't all that great, butI needed it out of my mind. So here it is.
By the way, I'm not feeling this now and I never had. It just came to me. I know I'm wierd. Shut up and read.
A Week in the Life of a Heartbreakee (Tuesday Morning)
Tuesday morning,
And I’m feeling so alone.
Tuesday afternoon,
And I wanna go home.
And by Tuesday night,
Nothing’s feeling alright
And there’s too too much of everything except you.
Then comes Wednesday morning,
And I don’t wanna get up.
And then it’s Wednesday afternoon,
And I’ve had enough.
And by Wednesday night,
Nothing’s feeling alright,
And I’m wondering when’s the next time I’ll see you.
Next comes Thursday morning,
And the sun ain’t out.
By Thursday afternoon,
I just want to shout and shout.
Then comes Thursday night,
And nothing’s feeling alright
And I’m hoping there’s a time I’ll see you.
Friday morning,
And I’m like what the heck.
Come Friday afternoon,
And I don’t care what’s coming next.
And by Friday night,
Things are starting to feel alright
As I’m dancing and you come and mess things up.
Friday night,
And the DJ’s playing our song.
Friday night,
And you make your way through the throng.
And by Friday night,
Things definitely feel alright
Because I’m dancing my heart out with you.
Then comes Saturday morning,
And I’m on cloud nine.
Then there’s Saturday afternoon,
And I’m feeling just fine.
And on Saturday
Everything’s feeling alright
And I still can feel your touch on my skin.
Next comes Sunday morning,
And everything looks a little brighter.
By Sunday afternoon,
My step becomes a little lighter.
Come Sunday night,
I’m feeling alright
And I can’t wait to see your face again.
Then it’s Monday morning,
And I actually want to go to school.
By Monday afternoon,
I feel this isn’t all that cool.
Come Monday night,
Nothing’s feeling alright,
Because you broke my heart and left me again.
And now it’s Tuesday morning…
