My take of how the Inquisitors were after the Spanish Inquisition, just something I thought of

In The Name Of God

Their screams of agony cling to my dreams,

I handed them their sentence

Death,

Torture…

I live with it

And all was in the name of God

Except, innocents were killed along with the rest

Women,

Men,

Even children…

They were hanged in the gallows, burned at the stake, executed without mercy…

All in the name of God,

Yet when it seemed like all was beginning to fade…

Three children bring the fear back into peoples hearts

My part as an inquisitor was done,

Yet the horrible legacy of my deeds lives on in the hearts of others,

And all was in the name of God.
