Seraphim

I think I’ll craft a portrait of a seraph that I’ve once seen.
She’s so delicate my teardrops mark the paper;
So wise she looks through me.

She’s the most elegant thing ever to grace my eyes
The folded wings so soft and bright
My colors tremble in her glory as she shines the morning light

I’m the only one to see her—
The ethereal epitome of mesmeric splendor
The only one! I don’t know why
She reaches out to me, the hands smooth and slender.

Her eyes enchant me
Twin worlds of emerald and blue
Those eyes brim of untold secrets, something hushed and new.

And I am in awe.
