Nothing’s changed

I’m still the same person

Following the same old lights

Just trying to keep things right

Nothing’s changed

I’m still the same person

But one wrong word

And I’ve stopped soaring like a bird

Haven’t you heard?

I’m no longer on the ball

It seems as if I’ve hit a wall

Nothing’s changed

I’m still the same person

But now I wish I hadn’t dared

To open up and ask my rights

I thought I was following the same old lights

Nothing’s changed

I’m still the same person

But now my world is foggy and gray

But I just say

Come what may

I miss you

I wonder if you miss me too?

Nothing’s changed

I’m still the same person

With the same old smile

The same old style

Nothing’s changed

I’m still the same person

Following the same old lights

Just trying to keep things right
