Too Little Too Late

Another depressing poem...I was thinking of that new BNL song when I wrote this, which is why it's titled after it...and it also fit the poem pretty well, I think. ^_^ Please review!

Too Little, Too Late

Too Little, Too Late

Save me, I need help.

I'm drowning in my own torment,

I'm languishing in my own sorrow.

You stand there, and watch,

Not saying anything,
Letting me fend for myself as

I bob in my ocean of sadness.

You were all I needed to escape,

The life boat after the ship goes down,

The sand my tired toes finally lands on.

All I needed was you to be saved,

And all you did was watch,

Watch, watch as my

Hand slips under, the last

Bubble of my breath breaking the surface.

I'm now gone, lost

Forever in the darkness of the

Water below.
