As frost arrives
And leaves do die
An all-seeing eye
Pierces the sky
A blanket of cold
Of dead, and of old
Its soul it sold
To bring such cold
In ice and rain
A grand refrain
Of trickled stain
Of intense pain.
Clouds ahead
Soulless and dead
Of these I dread.
But look ahead.
The winter comes
To make us numb,
My only one
To ease the numb.
Winter ice
Here's some advice
You best think twice
To release your vice.
