Woot, it's been forever since I've updated. I give you the nameless sestina . . . I'll probably call it Phantasm . . .yeah . . .

Alone on a hill, the night’s forsaken tomb

Half remembered lives haunt a phantasm’s path

A breeze blows, sending gentle scents of lilies

Out across the sky strewn of stars

Illuminated by the moon’s tender glow

Her light reminiscent of lost slender hands

---

Raised up to the moon, transparent hands

Grasp vainly for the life lost to the tomb

The death of a beautiful, heartening glow

Brought darkness to a once clear path

Crystals slip from eyes like dead stars

The wind rustling quietly through the lilies

---

Memories of freshly cut lilies

Clasped tight as lost dreams in now twisted hands

Life lit from within by wondrous bright stars

Lining the way to love’s lonely tomb

Spiraling down to deepest lost path

Vainly seeking to restore the lost glow

---

Remains on night’s hill, basked in sweet glow

The moon’s silky color reflecting off lilies

Spirit traveling down long forgotten path

Light pools on, passes through phantasmic hands

Resting gently on the edge of the mossy tomb

Reflecting the observant caress of the stars

---

Eyes seeing under light of changed stars

Discovers the life-giving, love-renewing glow

Witnesses its quick slide into death and the tomb

Soft crushing of petals, the dropping of lilies

Reaching for the unredeemable with twisted pale hands

Wind returns wandering thoughts to hilly moonlit path

---

Echoes of memories flit silently along the path

Open arms reaching to encompass the stars

Close in despair, light slipping from hands

Cupped in faint hope of retaining the glow

From hope inspiring dreams brought by the scent of lilies

Breeze whisks, flowing petals, then dies near the tomb

Lost by the tomb, drowning in stars

---

Phantasm falls to the path kneeling in sweet glow

A faint scent of lilies ends with the touch of slender hands
