My Loves denial

My heart prevails,

Even though your have departed,

Fighting off my emptiness,

My hope is still sturdy,

Although not for long,

I still hang on till you arrive home,

My feelings devastated, kaput and tattered,

Ready to fail forever more,

Then you, my love come back to me,

Waiting so you can do it again to me,

No matter how much pain you cause,

My heart still beats faster around you,

My uncertainties depart, when you are around,

As if your pure light, fighting of the darkened souls,

I know you don't love me,

I know you don't care,

But my love is to strong for me to ever care,

This love is so forged, I can hardly breath,

Yet, even then my heart falls for you,

Healing, mending, that warmth inside relit,

Till you leave me once again.

I fall into darkness, wondering why,

When inside I know,
