A/N: The following has been done by none other than Ake-chan herself! You see, there are so many crossover pairings in the CeruleanKnights worlds that well...Why not have a group of stories (one chapter usually) that spotlights the canon, to the uncanon to the even unlikely! This little one piece has Haku from my own Danzaiver no Densetsu story and Satoshi from Chibichocobo's Uprising Thanatos.

So with this....Ake-chan presents...!

Studio Fluff

Truth

A sole figure sat ontop of a tower, staring out to the midnight blue sky. It was a slightly overcast night and the figure rubbed their arms in an attempt to keep warm. They were clad in nothing but a school sailor uniform, aqua blue with a navy skirt. Her hair was cropped short and shoulder length. There was no make up on the asian's face despite being given many kinds form her aunt. Thinking about it caused a smile to form on her small face.

She looked down instead, looking to the city streets. So many people at night...and everything was lit up by neon lights. It was almost blinding but it was something she knew that was going to take some getting used to. Hmm...Where was the young gentleman she was supposed to meet here?

Standing up, the girl felt dizzy looking down at the ground and nearly stumbled as she stepped away from the edge. Two hands gripped her arms from behind. Turning around her eyes wide and her palm open, she was about to slap her assailant in the face. Only...it wasn't an assailant...it was her savior. She looked up and into neon green eyes. They nearly blinded her for a second just as the Tokyo lights did but these were more interesting. Silver grey flecks were scattered throughout the iris. She smiled and bowed her head apologetically.

"It's about time you got here!" she scolded him playfully, looking up with a goofy face.

The older boy smiled back down to her. "You know parallel dimensions...the hottest new craze right now as you might say."

The smaller girl grinned and punched his right arm lightly. "You're getting a hang of the Osaka slang from Leiko-san aren't you?" she asked. Blinking, she looked at the arm again and lifted up the sleeve of his kimono. There was a wound there, not fresh but it had been recent. She stared sullenly looking back up to him. "Kaiyo-san?" she asked.

He nodded and smiled at the same time. "I'm all right, don't worry. Just worry about yourself, all right?"

She frowned lightly. "I worry too much about you to worry about myself." she said to him, her blue eyes shimmering in the dark.

He shook his head and hugged her tightly. "We're both very important to our worlds. We must worry about ourselves before we worry about each other..." He then looked up at the sky in an after thought."Actually, we should worry about those we strive to protect."

The girl giggled and smiled up at him. "You'll never change will you Satoshi-chan?" she asked.

"Only if you want me to, Haku-chan." Satoshi grinned down at her. She blinked a couple of times and looked at the ground. Concern ran across his face as he asked "Something the matter?"

Haku bit her lip. "Just today, Aku sent another bakemono-"

"Hold on." Satoshi nodded his head, apologizing, and asked "What's a bakemono again?"

"Monsters created by Aku. Anyways...He sent one after Ichiro today...Ichiro is hurt...badly..." Haku stepped away from Satoshi and looked out to the city. "Has that ever happened to you? Have you ever failed to protect someone?"

Satoshi, a bit confused by the sudden question, didn't answer right away. He instead followed Haku's gaze out to the city. "You're bothered by it...because of Kokoro aren't you?" he asked.

Haku nodded. "He died protecting me...what if...what if it happens again in a twist of fate? What if someone I love disappears on me like that? Just...What if they just all of a sudden stop breathing and no matter how hard I try, the pulse never returns?" she looked back to him, a tear running down her flush red cheeks. "What if...What if someone dies? What if I die? I don't want to think selfishly but without me this city doesn't stand a chance!"

Satoshi walked over to her. Haku stared back at him. Shaking her head slowly, she said "I don't wanna lose you too...No matter what."

He wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug. "I'm sure Ichiro-san will be all right." His hand brushed against her cheeks, wiping away her tears."Now is this any way for a super hero to act, hm?"

Haku shook her head. "No...No it shouldn't be...Kokoro never-"

"And let's not keep trying to emulate others who have passed on." Satoshi placed a finger on Haku's lips. "If anything, they'd want you to be the best person you can be, yourself."

Haku smiled and stepped away, her arms folded. "Umm...Toshi-chan, I've never seen you so...full of wisdom and philosophy..." she then rushed up to him and felt his forehead. "You sick, koi?"

Satoshi backed away, laughing lightly. "The only sickness I've got is being lovesick with you."

"Hey get back here!" Satoshi had ran to the edge of the building and jumped off to the next. Haku chased after him. Both leaped over great boundaries, impossible for a mortal to imagine. Why not though? This was their world. Their happy place. Their sanctuary...

Their own little lie...

What used to be the Tokyo city below them, in a sweeping motion, turned into a field of blossoming flowers. The couple landed on the ground, rolling and laughing, mixing in the lovely scent of flowers.

Haku breathed in the fresh scent of chrysanthemums in the middle of the field. Beside her lay Satoshi who looked around admiring the new landscape. "Bored of Tokyo?" he asked her.

"A little bit too depressing and crowded. This place suits me just fine." Haku replied, closing her eyes. Satoshi looked over to her. She was like a pale porcelain doll. Fragile and unprotected, yet she would stand out and shine brilliantly in a crowded room. he had heard tales from before she became Danzaiver and could hardly believe them. She was so shy, so modest. Maybe it was because she had taken up the mantle that she developed into what she was right now? He nearly knew everything about her. As his father had warned him...as his whole family had warned him...the secret...must always be kept secret.

Satoshi sat up and crossed his feet under him. Haku looked up at him. "Thinking? Eri-san, isn't it?" she asked.

He nodded quietly. Eri had crossed his mind. She was another girl who he felt feelings for. She didn't exactly resemble Haku greatly, there was a height difference, not to mention different personalities. Haku sat up and leaned against his shoulder. "It'll be all right. No worries...Kaiyo-san will...smarten up sooner or later right?" she tried to comfort him.

He looked to the ground and nodded. Satoshi then looked to Haku. "We'll always have each other here...right?" he asked her. His hand moved up to her face cupping her cheek, almost as if he were testing the genuine reality that was in front of him.

Haku nodded, leaning in closer, her eyes closing. "We'll always have each other, in our dreams." she replied, their lips touching in a slow...

Beep Beep Beep Beep!

Bright blue eyes widening, Haku sat up in her bed. What time was it? She looked to the clock. Right...school this morning and then afterwards I need to visit Ichiro in the hospital. Haku got dressed quickly in her sailor fuku and looked in the mirror as she brushed her hair.

"What...?"

She blinked twice, dropping the hair brush. Was that Satoshi-chan in the mirror looking back? Impossible! He was in his own world! Slowly, she placed her hand on the mirror as he followed suit. Glass, all she felt was glass. Retreating her hand, she grabbed her things and ran downstairs.

That glass though...was warm.

Satoshi smiled and brought his hand back from the mirror. We'll always have each other in our dreams Haku-chan, he thought before turning back from the mirror.

"Satoshi-san! Breakfast is ready!" Eri's sweet voice brought him back to reality.

Nodding his head, he called out "I'll be there!" Taking one last look at the mirror, he headed out to face his own world.
