it’s quiet
& she wonders if she breathes will the world wake up

it’s lonely
& she wonders what it’s like to live half-dead inside

it’s cold
& she wonders why she feels this way all the time

it’s fired
& she wonders how long the awkward silence will last on

it’s fatal
& she wonders who that man is in the hospital bed

(apparently he doesn’t know her either
‘cause he never thought to call her in)

she’s been waiting since 3:06 in the morning
& time is just another absence from their lives

A/N: god i hate hospitals..
