Yes, there is no title for this little 's a poem thatcame to me at random. I wrote it pretty much straight from my mind, with a few tweaks to make more sense and fir the mood better. Even then, not the greatest work, but a work none the less. Enjoy
The sweet scents were beginning to fade
As the rain continued to pour,
And people raced for shelter.
Only a single silhouette figure remained
Arms outstretched to the sky
She screamed when the thunder roared
And sobbed when the lightning flashed
No one saw her there,
Alone and drenched with rain
Shouting to the sky in her rage
She screamed when the thunder roared
And sobbed when the lightning flashed
Falling to her knees
She cried the names over and over again
She failed all those she loved,
Wounded them with hurtful words
Here she came to the end
Cursing the storm with every last breath
And shedding each and every tear
Her screams went through the night
As her sobs did too
Her final, broken words came
In the first rays of sun
They floated through the air,
And into the town
“I’m sorry…”
Is what she said.
