Dead from Disconnection
“Why’d they have to take you?”
I cried to my dear old friend.
“We never did anything to them,
this shall not be the end!”
Your smooth, pale face is lifeless,
your eyes are dark and blank,
“Somebody, call a professional,
I think his name was Frank.”
Four blissful years we had,
we saved so many memories.
But one stupid nerd cursed us both
And robbed us of all pleasantries.
“I will seek bloody revenge!”
I screamed furiously to the ceiling.
I thought we could save the PC,
maybe more ram, a little healing?
Poor computer, you’re broke now,
you froze up every five minutes.
I couldn’t even log into my file,
without going far from your limits.
I guess you’ve gone to heaven,
or wherever dead computer’s go.
But we have to leave, part our ways,
I’ve got school assignments, you know!
I haven’t been on MSN in days,
I could have reviews from Fictionpress.
I will move on, I’ll go to Best Buy -
Oh! A flat screen for 100 bucks less!
