Self Loathing

You thought you could tuck me away

By thinking happy thoughts

This phony fantasy you portray

Unleashed my unforgiving onslaught

I remember that which you did swear

As a child to get you through

You left me alone in this nightmare

And that is why I hate you

It’s me who whispers to you quietly

Those things that cause you pain

The doubts are planted subtly

Your discomfort is my gain

Cry like I have all these years

Feel alone and in despair

I envelope you in all my fears

For you I do not care

Don’t tempt with your lies

That you can bring me peace

For you diluted my outcries

And my hatred did increase

No longer will you ignore me

I’ve made my presence known

I’ll break through the boundary

You think is made of stone

And give you all the memories

Not caring how it hurts

Hoping it brings you to your knees

With no hope of any comforts

Then you will understand

What you have put me through

You denied me with a strong command

And for that I will not forgive you
