You were at a friends house,

Played an innocent game.

But in the end,

It would bring you pain.

‘Just one little smoke’

Was the harmless dare,

But it wasn’t that simple,

It wasn’t fair.

It turned into two,

And before you knew,

You were hooked on the drug

It came out of the blue.

You spent all your money,

On the cigarettes.

And faster, than lightning,

You were deep in debt.

To bay your bills,

You had to steal,

But it wasn’t enough,

In the end you would kill.

You now sit in prison,

Because of a game.

Now your life,

Will never be the same.
