the mad cycle of reality

somewhere beneath the shadows of prison,
lies the betrayal & treason
- like space & time that forever bends,
the type of race that claims innocence.

still seeing things as bright as day,
though they know there’s hell to pay.
their conscience burns out like wildfire,
with fixed eyes only at pure desire.

unseemingly overlooking the darkness of punishment,
creeping in the insides of the unknowing.
forgetting the significance of the sacrament -
the holy sacrament of the living.

they talk lies., whisper lies....
they hear lies., witness lies....
they keep coming like raindrops for eternity,
& just suddenly breaks down in lunacy.
